The team at AMAUTA has been providing policy, strategy and outreach solutions to non-profits, associations, and developers across the country for nearly 15 years. Ignacio and his team have managed countless controversial and issue-focused public relations programs to ensure the community’s voice is heard and considered throughout project development.

We are a full-service public relations firm that excels in public outreach, community engagement and issue management. Our primary vertical markets are real estate, economic development, energy, transportation, and solid waste. Many programs involve environmental, climate change and sustainability public relations where we coordinate closely with stakeholders, community members and NGOs.
AMAUTA also specializes in digital advocacy. Our proprietary technology, helps our clients capture new audiences and cultivate local support for project approval through targeted community engagement and outreach. Our ability to target and meet stakeholders where they are is nationally recognized.
Ignacio Barragan founded our latino-owned, Sacramento-based firm in 2019 in order to help his clients reach difficult audiences and advance initiatives that provide new benefits to their host communities.
